FAQ - Arabic Courses at the ETC

Hopefully the Frequently Asked Questions below will help.  Any more questions, feel free to Contact us at any time. laughing_small

Do you teach Classical Arabic or Colloquial Arabic?

We teach both - we do not insist that you learn one or the other.  Some of our students have never learnt any Classical Arabic after many years with us!  Some take Colloquial first and then progress to Classical.  For more information see the detail in Course Structure.

What are your class sizes?

We never have classes bigger than 10 - but most are between 4 and 6.

Do you teach Private Lessons?

Of course!  In fact the longer people stay with us, the more likely they are to have one-on-one classes as people's indvidual needs differ.

When are you open?

Classes can be any time between 9am and 8pm Sunday - Wednesday, and 9am to 3pm on Thursday.

How often are your classes?

It's hard to say - some people come to Egypt to learn Arabic intensively, others have jobs to go to, so can only squeeze in once a week.  Beginners classes are usually 3-4 times a week.
